Multichem Dock (Heavy duty)

Multi Dock Chem composite hoses for chemical transfer are specialized hoses designed to handle the transfer of a wide range of chemicals, solvents, alkaline and fatty acids safely and efficiently. These composite hoses are extremely flexible and lightweight designed for handling fuel, lubricant and 100% aromatics at required discharge pressure or suction at port installation. These hoses are constructed using advanced composite materials to ensure high chemical resistance and durability.

Compliance :  Multi Dock chem hoses are manufactured in accordance to EN 13765 / 2018 Type 3

Applications

Loading and Unloading Barges: Compohose is ideal for loading and unloading operations on barges. Its high tensile polypropylene coated galvanized steel inner wire and outer wire provide strength and flexibility, making it suitable for handling the stresses and strains of marine environments.

Ocean Tanker Operations: When transferring chemicals to or from ocean tankers, Compohose ensures the safe and efficient transfer of fluids. Its construction ensures integrity even during the dynamic movements of tankers at sea.

Bunkering Services: Compohose is well-suited for bunkering services, where fuels or other chemicals are transferred from storage tanks to ships. Its strength and flexibility are essential for handling large volumes of liquids efficiently.

Dockside Operations at Ports: Compohose finds use in various dockside operations at ports, where chemicals and fluids need to be transferred between storage tanks and vessels. Its robust design ensures durability in these demanding environments.

Chemical Industry: The heavy-duty nature of Compohose makes it an excellent choice for chemical manufacturers and processors. It can be used for transferring a wide range of chemicals within a plant or between different facilities.

Marine and Shipping Industry: Beyond loading and unloading operations, Compohose can be used on ships for various fluid transfer needs, such as transferring cleaning agents, lubricants, or other chemicals.

Industrial Manufacturing: Compohose can be employed in industrial settings for transferring hazardous or corrosive chemicals within a manufacturing facility. Its robust construction ensures the safe handling of these materials.

Safety Standards

Rigorous Safety Testing

COMPOHOSE assemblies undergo comprehensive testing, conducted at 1.5 times the rated Working Pressure (W.P). This stringent testing adheres to the EN 13765 standard, ensuring a paramount level of safety and reliability.

Provision of Manufacturer's Test Certificate

With each supply of COMPOHOSE composite hose assemblies, a Manufacturer's Test Certificate is included. This certificate serves as a confirmation of the product's quality and compliance with safety standards, providing added assurance to users.

Clear Burst Pressure Specification

The burst pressure of the composite hose is explicitly indicated for ambient temperature conditions. This vital information enhances safety awareness and empowers users to operate within secure pressure limits.

Effective Electrical Continuity

The composite hose's electrical continuity is assured through the integration of two bonded wires connected to the end fitting. This innovative design promotes the dissipation of accumulated electrical charges, mitigating the risk of static flashes and associated hazards.
